On Saturday Sept. 24-25, Altrusa Int. of Tiffin hosted a weekend bus trip to Chicago. Bus left Tiffin at 8 a.m. from Old Fort Banking - Westgate parking lot, bound for the Windy City for a weekend of fun, shopping, sightseeing; some reserved tickets to a show, some shopped, some went sightseeing and other just explored the city. We stayed at the beautiful Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott - 1 block from Magnificent Mile - 4 blocks from the Navy Pier & full breakfast was included. Bus left Chicago at 3:30pm Sunday and arrived home at 9:00pm. We had a mixed group of people this year, shoppers, couples, and mothers and kids, there is something for everyone in the Windy City.

Next year's trip will be the fourth weekend in Sept again, we will try to keep the price the same and we are going to try to fill 2 buses, since everyone had such a great time this year. With the cost of expensive downtown hotels, the cost of gas and the cost of parking your car($47 per night), riding on the Altrusa Bus Trip represents a more cost effective and relaxing way to go to Chicago. Not to mention that you will also be helping Tiffin Altrusa support our many literacy and community serive projects.

All monies earned from the trip will be spent on Altrusa projects for Seneca County.
