Chicago Bound |
On Saturday December 6, 2008 Altrusa Int. of Tiffin hosted a weekend bus trip to Chicago. Three full busses left Tiffin at 8 a.m. bound for the Windy City for a weekend of fun, shopping, sightseeing, and some reserved tickets to a show or what ever your heart desired. Once the bus unloaded you were on your own to do whatever you liked. We stayed at the beautiful Palmer House Hilton. On the way to Chicago games were played to pass the time. Many packages were loaded on the bus trip home and movies were provided on the trip home. The busses arrived back in Tiffin on December 7 at around 9pm

Bridal Fair |

Our Altrusa club sponsored the Bridal Fair for the first time this year. The event took place Jan. 20, 2008 at the Meadowbrook Ballroom in Bascom, Ohio. The event was a great success with 115 registered brides and 65 vendors showcasing their wares. The Honeymoon Package worth $1500 & donated by Rayella Engle, Mohawk Golf Club, Holiday Inn Exp, Rock Run Food & Candies, Seneca Massage & Something Special was won by Clair Martin . |
