President’s Message
When I became an Altrusan eleven years ago, I never thought I would have become so involved. However, I got hooked. It is a club that does so much for the community in so many ways. Through Community Service, Literacy and Scholarships just to mention a few.
I have also met many wonderful friends not only in my own community but in all the clubs in District Five.
I was honored in past years to be ask to serve as District Chair of New Club Building and Revitalization, then as Program Coordinator and this last biennium elected to Treasurer of District Five. Presently I will be serving as Finance Chair and to now be installed as President of our club.
It has been an amazing journey and now I am honored to serve as president of our club.
“Today’s Dreams are Tomorrow’s Successes”. Is the theme I have chosen for my biennium.
Webster describes a “Dream” as a series of images or thoughts in the mind of a person, a vision to have, yearnings, to imagine things.
“Success” as a favorable accomplishment, prosperity, or one who has achieved success.
I look at this as a great combination. I am so pleased with all on the members of Tiffin Altrusa have all stepped up to the challenge as officers, committee chairs and co-chairs and as team members. I am sure you will have many thoughts and visions of what we can do for our community and end with a very successful biennium.
Keep in mind.... if Altrusa is to grow and continue to be we need to keep looking for good dedicated prospective members to add to our clubs family. I am challenging each of you to bring in one new member in this biennium. Are you up for the challenge?
In Service and Friendship,
